Medium purple clay is marbled with translucent clay with silver leaf added.  The clay is cut into 1.25" diameter circles and 0.5" long  fat teardrops before sealed in resin.  The pieces are then attached.  The earrings use silver-plated bails and earwires and are 2.5" long.  
 
All metal used is hypoallergenic, nickel-free and is sterling silver, silver or gold-plated, or stainless steel unless noted otherwise. Every item is handcrafted, custom-made, nothing mass-produced.
