Basswood painted a deep frosted blue and then cut into long teardrops, 1.75" x 1."  A light tan snowflake, 0.75" in diameter,  is laser cut from basswood and is attached to the front of the blue teardrop.   The earrings use silver-plated fishhook earwires and are 1.75" long.
 
All metal used is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and is sterling silver, silver or gold-plated, or stainless steel unless noted otherwise. Every item is handcrafted, custom-made, nothing mass-produced.
