Translucent clay uses alcohol ink to color it in three shades of red then marbled with silver leaf.  The clay is cut into 0.5" diameter circles and a "U" shape, 1.25" x 1" then all are sealed in resin.  The pieces are connected and the earrings use an 0.25" long silver bail.  The earrings use silver-plated fishhook earwires and are 2.75" long.
 
All metal used is hypoallergenic, nickel-free and is sterling silver, silver or gold-plated, or stainless steel unless noted otherwise. Every item is handcrafted, custom-made, nothing mass-produced.
