3mm thick basswood is laser cut into a fat teardrop, 1.5" x 1" with a lotus flower cut out of the center.  The teardrops are painted a frosted pinkish-purple and paired with a silver-plated square maze connector, 0.5" x 0.5"  that hangs diagonally.  The earrings use ball-end silver-plated fishhook earwires and are 2.25" long. 
 
All metal used is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and is sterling silver, silver or gold-plated, or stainless steel unless noted otherwise. Every item is handcrafted, custom-made, nothing mass-produced.
