Frosted industrial gray 3mm thick basswood is laser cut into rectangles pointed on each end, 1.75" x 1" that are cut into a series of connected squares, one after another creating a series of cut-out Vs and small squares across the entire piece.  The earrings use silver-plated fishhook earwires and are 2" long.
 
All metal used is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and is sterling silver, silver or gold-plated, or stainless steel unless noted otherwise. Every item is handcrafted, custom-made, nothing mass-produced.
