Basswood is painted a frosted light blue with vertical striations.  The wood is cut into ovals pointed on each end, 1.75" x 1" with "Cowboys" engraved vertically down the middle of the oval.  Silver-plated bails are added.  The earrings use silver-plated fishhook earwires and are 2" long.  
 
All metal used is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and is sterling silver, silver or gold-plated, or stainless steel unless noted otherwise. Every item is handcrafted, custom-made, nothing mass-produced.
