Basswood is painted a frosted gray and then laser cut into fat teardrops, 2" x 1.5."  The teardrops are engraved to resemble a cobblestone or pebble pattern on the surface.  The earrings use bronze fishhook earwires and are 2" long.
 
All metal used is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and is sterling silver, silver or gold-plated, or stainless steel unless noted otherwise. Every item is handcrafted, custom-made, nothing mass-produced.
